Luggage lost on 4 October 2023 JNB/TLV. Submitted a claim, was informed by Turkish Airlines that if luggage was not found I would be reimbursed. Despite my claim, going to Turkish Airlines at Ben Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv and searching for my own luggage, emails and hand delivery of documents. I have, to date, had absolutely no response nor reimbursement. Ludicrous lack of customer service.
I’m trying to get ahold of the Johannesburg office and the US customer line. No one is answering.
We experienced two significant travel delays on the following flights during December 2023: 1. TK184 IST-CUN – 17 hour delay due to technical issues, TK0040 IST-JNB – 7 Hour delay (reason not communicated). This is pathetic and unacceptable.
What is worse is that your process for getting us to a hotel during the 17 hour delay was disorganised – it took us 6 hours to get into our room from notification of delay. The hotel is sub-standard with the food inedible. It would have served us better to just stay at the airport. My husband was in a wheelchair, being carted around and up and down – it was so uncomfortable from him to get onto a plane, have to get off and then wait around (while we were exhausted) for hotel accommodation. When we reached the hotel we waited another 3 hours before our room was allocated because you decided to send 300 people to the same hotel.
We will NEVER make use of your airline again. We will also never refer your airline to anyone.
