after week, after month families go through preventable challenges thanks to Southern Airways (Mokulele). Mokulele keeps booking flights then moving some people’s flights around just because “THEY CAN” being the only airlines flying to Molokai and Lanai. We know there are several complaints, but still nothing is done. You can encourage them to STOP taking flight reservations once they’re booked. My 4 aunties and uncle waited 7 hours at Mokulele on Oahu during June when they took my aunt from Vegas to visit their homeland. Then, last Friday and last night we had flights that kept being delayed but instead of leaving when the delay text message says…we left an hour later on both days. We booked two months in advance. We’re waiting at airport on both islands ready to leave at 7 like text message said it was delayed to, but they take another bunch of people. Our family too who only made their reservations during the week. Why punish passengers who booked first just because they CAN? They shouldn’t take reservations for more than what they can accommodate because we need to be at work too. Very disappointed that its been years since they’re the only ones flying to Lanai and Molokai, and we still get horrible service.
